Our Adoption Path

Bringing home your *golden companion*

We guide you through every milestone of your puppy's early life, ensuring a safe, healthy transition from our loving home to yours.

Step-by-step

The path to your puppy

At Golden Grace Kennel Co., we want your experience to be simple, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish. Our process is designed to help you feel confident and prepared as you welcome a new puppy into your home.

1. Start The Conversation

Begin by filling out our Start Here form. It’s simply a friendly way for us to get to know you, your home, and what you’re hoping for in a puppy. This isn’t an application or a screening process — it just opens the conversation. Once we receive your form, we’ll reach out to chat, answer questions, and guide you through the next steps.

2. Place a Deposit

A non‑refundable deposit of $250 secures your spot on our reservation list for a specific litter and the remaining balance will be due at pick up. Forms of payment accepted for deposits are Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp.

3. Watch Your Puppy Grow

From birth to go‑home day, we share updates, photos, and milestones so you can follow your puppy’s development. We also post updates on our Facebook page. Our puppies are raised in indoor home kennels and surrounded by family life, giving them a confident, well‑socialized start.

4. Puppy Selection

Puppies are chosen on a first‑come, first‑served basis, determined by when your deposit is paid. Our waitlist is organized by sex, so you’ll choose male or female when joining. Around 4–5 weeks, puppies start showing their personalities, and that’s when selection begins. You always make the final choice. If none of the available puppies feel like the right fit, we can move you to the next litter while keeping your same place in line.

5. Go‑Home Day

Puppies go home at 8 weeks old. You’ll receive a go‑home packet with health records, feeding instructions, and helpful tips for a smooth transition. Puppies should go home by 9 weeks of age unless other arrangements have been made.

6. Lifelong Support

Our relationship doesn’t end at pickup. We’re always here to answer questions, offer guidance, and cheer on your puppy as they grow.
